The use of CCTV on your site or property provides a highly visible deterrent to potential intruders, whilst allowing you to see at any given moment, who is on your site.

Black Diamond Security can design, install, maintain, and monitor your CCTV System. As an accredited SSAIB Company you can rest assured that whether we are protecting your home or business we will do so to the highest of standards. All of our systems can be configured to work with your smart phone, tablet or computer as well as being linked to TVs and our Control Centre for added piece of mind.
Design
As with any security solution provided by Black Diamond Security, we provide a free of charge site security review. During the review we will take a note of your site layout, any existing systems and listen to your requirements. We will also discuss insurance requirements. Does your insurance provider require your system to comply with BS8418, do you require level 1 police response? Do you want contacting in the event of an activation, or would you prefer one of response team to attend site? We will discuss camera locations, expectations and make recommendations based on our expertise. We will recommend a minimum of 14 days recording as a standard. However, all systems can be expanded.
In-line with British Standards and CGNI Guidance we will never recommend a PTZ as a primary security camera as these are easier for intruders to defeat than a static camera.
We will always recommend a public announcement system to be integrated with the CCTV system as a monitored system without audio challenges are proven to be less effective. Whilst there are options on the market for pre-recorded message systems, intruders quickly become wise and as such this will never be our recommendation.
Installation
Once the design has been accepted we will arrange a suitable installation date. Upon completion the system will be commissioned, full training delivered and the system will be certified.
Maintenance & Monitoring
We can maintain and monitor a large variety of existing systems as well as all systems that we install. As a standard your system will be monitored by our Control Centre. We use monitoring software that is compliant and we conduct vigorous tests to ensure that all Control Centre Operatives are confident and monitor all systems in line with current British Standards. We can also provide level 1 police response for all our maintained CCTV Systems. As part of our CCTV Monitoring package, we provide the Diamond Pulse to all monitored sites, walk and audio tests. All sites are checked manually on a regular basis. The Control Centre runs to a set of standing operating procedures across all sites. However, when designing your system we will discuss any variations that may be required. As the monitoring station is owned by Black Diamond we can implement changes to plans with ease.
To ensure that your system remains effective we advise that you have a maintenance contract in place. We offer contracts to suit all needs, from a simple pay as you go approach with no lengthy contracts or tie ins to a fully inclusive contract covering all parts and engineering time.
